The New York Times Likes Past Objects

The New York Times put Scott Jordan’s Past Objects in the antique books section of this year’s holiday gift guide! We at MBP, of course, already knew that the book—which catalogs the remarkable bottles, toys, shoes, buttons, and other things Jordan has amassed during a lifetime digging around New York City—was a perfect buy for history buffs and antique lovers, but it’s nice to get a shout out from the Grey Lady. Christmas is still three weeks away, which is more than enough time to get a copy of the book on Amazon and get it under a tree.
