The Inner Life of Martin Frost Wins Big!
March 26, 2009
This week marked the 23rd annual Bookbinders’ Guild of New York’s New York Book Show, held in all its glory at the Grand Ballroom in Manhattan. Nobody at MBP was on hand to witness the event, but nevertheless our books made their way into the hands of the judges. And (drumroll please…) the big winner of the night was none other than The Inner Life of Martin Frost! Glenn Thomas’s excellent illustrated adaptation of a Paul Auster story took First Place in Art Books Under $75 as well as 2009’s Best in Special Trade category. Yowza! The Guild has a large and respectable history in the NYC publishing scene (having been around since 1926) so we’re honored to be the recipient of such a special award. If you haven’t held this elegant, large-format book in your hands… better get one before they’re all sold!
