If you’re reading this, you probably know about Martha Cooper. If you need a crash course, check out this great article from the Village Voice, bringing the uninitiated up to speed from Cooper’s work documenting the early days or graffiti and hip-hop cultures to her new book, Going Postal.
Better yet, come out to Brooklyn’s Ad Hoc Art on Friday, February 20, where we’ll be celebrating the release of Going Postal by convening many of the book’s featured artists who will be selling stickers. MBP will be selling books and giving away beer, wine and cola. Sounds like the perfect start to a weekend!
